ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday called Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and conveyed his deepest condolences on the loss of lives in Lahore terror attack.

The prime minister told the Turkish President that the terrorists were on the run and therefore, they were now targeting soft targets like children and women.

Sharif said terrorism had become a serious global challenge. “I know that your country is also faced with this menace,” he added.

The prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of the terrorist attacks in Turkey. –APP
