Heated debate likely in NA session today

ISLAMABAD: Session of the National Assembly on Friday is likely to witness heated debates among lawmakers on issues of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) proposed privatization and Lahore’s Orange Line Metro Train project, Samaa reported.

According to our correspondent, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), the main opposition party in the house, is all set to give a tough time to treasury benches.

Reports said all opposition parties are expected to adopt a unanimous stance over the issues of PIA, Orange Line project and petroleum prices.

Source said PPP leadership has directed its MNAs to ensure presence in the session.

They said PPP’s Leader of the Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah has telephoned several opposition members for assistance over the issues. - Samaa
