The president and prime minister have expressed profound grief and sympathy with the families of the martyred jawans.
In a statement, the president said entire nation stands by the families of martyred soldiers whose sacrifices, he said, would not go to waste.
Expressing grief over the attack, the prime minister has ordered the authorities concerned to take immediate measures to arrest the perpetrators of the attack on the Pakistan Army.
“Such cowardly attacks could not weaken determination of our brave soldiers, we are proud of our jawans,” he was quoted as saying. The prime minister further said that peace and stability is the future of Karachi.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, Muttahida Qaumi Movement, former president Asif Ali Zardari and other politicians have always expressed profound grief over the loss of life.
