ZIARAT: An impressive flag-hoisting ceremony was held at Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s Ziarat Residency in Balochistan, as the nation celebrated 139th birth anniversary of the founder of the nation. Samaa reported Friday.

Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri hoisted the national flag in the ceremony that was also attended by IG FC Balochistan Major General Sherafghan.

Addressing on the occasion, IG FC claimed that forces have restored peace in the province by eliminating all ‘no-go’ areas.

Earlier in the day, a Change of Guard ceremony held at mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi where a smartly turned-out contingent of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul assumed guard's duty.

President Mamnoon Hussain, Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan along with Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and members of the provincial cabinet visited the mausoleum and offered fateha. - Samaa
