“Other people have different wishes, but I want my parents, want to see them here. I just want to see them. It's the only thing I want,” says 18-year-old Qirat Chapra from her hospital room in US Houston city.

Qirat suffers from an auto-immune disease that has ravaged her body since she was born, and now doctors say she may only have months to live.

She's an American citizen since she was born in Houston, but her parents aren't. They are in Karachi and facing visa problems to see their beloved daughter.  - Samaa
