CJ lays ATCs foundation stone in Karachi’s central jail

KARACHI: The Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali paid a visit to central jail in Karachi on Saturday, Samaa reported.

During the visit, the chief justice laid foundation stone of ten anti-terrorist courts at Central Prison in Karachi on Saturday.

On this occasion, the Justice Jamali said terrorism is a grave challenge confronting the nation. He said the country is facing both of internal and external terrorism.

Justice Jamali said provision of speedy justice is prime responsibility of the judges. He urged to ensure speedy justice to the people.

He expressed satisfaction over shifting anti-terrorism courts in prison for speedy trial of terrorism related cases.
