KARACHI: Sindh Local Governments Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah violated all laws by appointing eight officers on four vital offices in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).

Acting in violation of law and propriety, the LB minister picked up his kinsman, Asad Shah for the post of DG Parks.

According to SAMAA correspondent, Asad Shah is an engineer and he has no past work experience of parks.

The recent way-out appointments widely laid bare Nasir Shah’s brazen interference in KMC.

Moreover, OPS officer Rashid Khan has been appointed Director Local Tax on directives of Nasir Shah.

He also ordered to raise Aqeel Baig, who was dismissed over dual nationality and issuing counterfeit lease, as Director Land.

Shoaib Waqar has been taken as Financial Adviser in violation of Lahore High Court’s orders.

The sources said the recent KMC appointments spark concerns among dutiful officers. –SAMAA
