Saudi cadet found dead in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A Saudi cadet was found dead in mysterious circumstances at a guest house in the capital city of Islamabad on Saturday, police said.

The 26-year-old deceased, identified as Saudi national Fawad al-Mishan, was studying at Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Abbottabad. He came to Islamabad on a recreational trip with his friend, Yazid.

According to initial investigation, two friends were staying at a guest house in G-7/4 Sector.

Yasir told investigators that Mishan was found dead in his room when he went to wake him up.

Medics say that Fawad may have suffered a heart attack.

Meanwhile, Saudi military attaché stopped authorities from carrying out autopsy till the arrival of his family members. The body has been sent to cold storage. – SAMAA
