ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan Tuesday announced to cancel his party’s Jalsa in Faisalabad in view of the earthquake that hit the country yesterday killing over 300 people and injuring over thousand.

The party was to hold the rally on Wednesday as part of its campaign for upcoming local government election in Punjab.

The PTI chairman made the announcement on social media website twitter, saying in view of the devastation caused by the earthquake, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he has decided to cancel the rally.
