Govt to send bereaved family members to Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided that the government would send family members of the martyred pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

The ministries of Foreign Affairs and Religious Affairs have been directed to make arrangements in this regard, said a PM House press release.

The bereaved family members of those shaheed pilgrims who had lost their lives in Mina and crane crash tragedies would be sent after completion of the Hajj mission.

Ministry for Religious Affairs has confirmed martyrdom of 44 Pakistani pilgrims in Mina stampede, with 62 still missing four days after the incident.

The government has set up helpline for information regarding missing Hujjaj. The numbers are 042111725425 (to dial from Pakistan) and 8001166622 (to dial from Saudi Arab). – APP
