Youth drowns in River Indus near Khanpur

KHANPUR: A youth drowned while crossing River Indus near Jannat locality in Khanpur area of Rahim Yar Khan, in the jurisdiction of Police chowki Chachran Sharif.

According to police, Ijaz Ahmed (30) son of Esa Khan Gopang along with his cattle was crossing the river near Basti Jannat when strong current pushed him into deep water and he drowned.

The search of body was in progress till the filing of this report. – APP
