PTI leadership cracks widening to gaping rifts

LAHORE: The cracks, which had started appearing in the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during and after its 126-day-long anti-government sit-in in Islamabad, have now widened to gaping rifts raising serious questions about political party’s future.

“Party chairman Imran Khan better come down to earth from the stars,” PTI stalwart Hamid Khan told reporters giving a vent to his long pent-up reservation.

Khan said the PTI was launched to break the status quo but alas it became a part of it.

“It is so highly unfortunate that the ‘children of martial law’ have infiltrated our party,” the disgruntled leader boomed out adding,” There’s no place for the land and sugar mafia in the PTI.”
