WASHINGTON: US Deputy Secretary of State Blinken lauds role of Pakistan in reconciliation process between Afghan Govt and Taliban.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi and US Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken discussed bilateral relations in Washington today.

Tariq Fatemi said that Prime Minster Muhammad Nawaz Sharif wants good relations with all countries including its neighbors.

Tony Blinken appreciated the role of Pakistan in reconciliation process between Afghan government and Taliban.

He assured that his country will play its due role in maintaining peace in Afghanistan. – Samaa
