ISLAMABAD: The Inspector General of FC Thursday night phoned Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and briefed him about the accused arrested in the murder case of Dr Imran Farooq.
The Ministry of Interior, in a statement, Friday said that it would be premature to say that the arrested had link with any political party or group.
It said that the investigation process could only be initiated after completing all legal formalities of the case. The evidences, provided by the British Police to Pakistan, were on the record so far, it added.
The ministry advised the media to contact its spokesperson prior to publishing any news regarding the case as it had international legal implications. – APP
