‘Killer policemen’ to face action as per law: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of death of two brothers due to firing of police officials in Rawalpindi and sought a report from the RPO.

He also ordered an inquiry into the incident.

In a statement here on Sunday, he said those involved will not escape punishment and justice would be provided to the aggrieved family at any cost.

The chief minister expressed sympathies with the family of the deceased brothers and said he was deeply grieved over the incident.

Meanwhile, on the instructions of the chief minister, a case has been registered and an ASI and a constable have been arrested whereas raids are being conducted for the arrest of two other police officials.  –APP
