KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that time has come for the people of Karachi to decide their fate by voting their favorite party in by-election, Samaa reported Sunday.

“It's going to be a splendid jalsa tonight, Karachiites are brave people and are courageous, masses will enjoy and we all will see winds of change in Karachi”, he told media at residence of prominent businessman Aqeel Karim Dhedhi.

He urged his supporters to join him, saying that it’s for people of Karachi to decide about their fate.

He expressed satisfaction over Rangers deployment, saying that Rangers' presence inside and outside polling stations will make a difference.

“If cameras are installed in polling stations, transparency could be expected”, he asserted.

Answering a question about Altaf Hussain's speech, he said “my appetite has increased after Altaf's long and boring speech yesterday”.

“How Altaf knows of NA-246 results before elections, results are known prematurely only when matches are fixed”, he said smilingly.

The PTI chief announced that he would soon establish Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in the city, adding that Aqeel Karim Dhedhi has assured donation for the hospital project. Samaa
