QUETTA: Eight levies personnel have been arrested after Turbat incident that claimed 20 lives of labourers, who were working on an under construction bridge in Gadgan area, home secretary said.

According to the Balochistan’s home secretary, the services of arrested personnel have also been suspended.

The levies sources said that the laborers were asleep at the time of attack at a camp located near the construction site being watched over by eight levies personnel.

At least 20 attackers drove into the camp and opened reckless fire at the sleeping construction workers, killing 20 laborers and injuring three others. –Samaa
