ISLAMABAD: As many as 46 Senators-elect on Thursday took oath at a special session of the Upper House in the Parliament House with two among them still awaited.
Hasil Khan Bazinjo and Raheela Magsi could not take oath because Hasil Bazinjo was not present in the House while Senator-elect Raheela Magsi was present in the Senate galleries but could not take oath due to some legal complications.
Presiding Officer Senator Ishaq Dar administered oath to newly elected members of the Upper House. Later the names of the Senators were announced to sign the roll of members.
