Seven dead in Lower Dir car crash

LOWER DIR: No less than seven people were killed in a roadside accident here on Saturday, Samaa reported.

“The unfortunate vehicle, which was on its way to Timergara, went rolling down a deep ditch (or well) after veering off the road in Rani area,” sources told Samaa quoting police as saying.

There was no word on the exact number of the survivors, but police did inform Samaa that at least three women were among the non-fatal casualties.

The dead and the injured were later shifted to the nearest hospital after the accident, the cause of which was yet to be ascertained.
