ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid, Thursday underlined that self-accountability was imperative while learning lessons from ones mistakes, Samaa reported.

“A natural catastrophe can be forgotten but the losses incurred due to our own mistakes can never be,” the minister said while speaking at an event here.

Moving forward, Rashid said that everyone realized their mistakes in the wake of Peshawar army school massacre.

“No terrorist outfit or school of thought will be allowed to dictate the nation,” he said.

He added the defence of Pakistan was the sole responsibility of the country’s constitutional institutions.

“We will not allow an armed militia to raise its disastrous head ever. The job of safeguarding the country should be better left to its security forces,” the minister said.
