ISLAMABAD: Federal Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Monday met the parents and brother of Hassan Zeb who was martyred in Peshawar tragedy and expressed his heartfelt condolences.

Dr Asif Kirmani, Political Secretary to Prime Minister who came on behalf of Prime Minister was also present on the occasion. The minister embraced Musa Zeb and expressed his deep affection with him.

Musa Zeb is the brother of martyred Hassan Zeb who survived the deadliest terror attack in Peshawar.

Speaking on the occasion, Pervaiz Rashid said that the nation was mourning over the sad incident as it jolted every Pakistani. Killing of innocent children is an act of blatant cowardice as a behaviour reflects the criminal and brutal mindset of terrorists, through which they want to enforce their obscurantist agenda, the minister added.

The minister said that the whole nation also shares the grief and sorrow of the bereaved families. He assured that the government would not rest till the elimination of all terrorists from the country.

He said that there was no place for extremism in our society and the nefarious designs of terrorists would be foiled by joint efforts.

He further added that the entire nation, democratic forces and all institutions are fully determined and united to curb the menace of terrorism.

Dr Asim Kirmani also reiterated government's resolve to fight against terrorism and militancy in the country. The martyred Hassan Zeb was also nephew of Shabbir Anwar, former press secretary to the prime minister and senior officer of information group. – APP
