KARACHI: Sharjeel Memon, Sindh Information Minsiter, said Friday that forcible closure of all main roads in the city by PTI workers is against the law and people of Karachi are facing great difficulties.

Talking exclusively to Samaa, he said that PTI had agreed to stage sit-ins at nine places of Karachi but they didn’t fulfill their promise as they blocked all main roads in the city.

He said he has urged local PTI leaders to record their protest peacefully and avoid closure of roads.

“I have requested them to take into account difficulties of people, school children and others, he said, adding PTI should also take into account that today is Friday and tomorrow local administration also has to take measures for Chelum processions.

Memon said that city administration and law enforcing agencies geared up to deal with any law and order situation. – Samaa
