ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Saturday announced to hold protest demonstrations across the country tomorrow over killing of the party leader Khalid Mehmood Soomro in Sukkur.
Talking to media here, Fazl directed his party workers to take to streets tomorrow and hold protests.
He also directed the JUI-F to jam all the main roads across the country.
Replying to a question, the JUI-F chief lamented that how could he give a time frame to the ‘helpless government’ for arrest of the party leader’s killers.
“We have lost our bold leader,” he commented on the demise of Soomro.
Soomro, the secretary general for the Sindh chapter of the JUI-F, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen while he was going to offer Fajr prayers. He received four bullets.
The JUI-F leader was in Sukkur to participate in a conference while wedding ceremony of his son was also to be held today. -Samaa
