ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police resorted to baton-charge on media persons covering a protest against gas load-shedding in the federal capital on Sunday.

Police first attempted to restrain the media persons from reporting the protest, but on their failure to do so, they baton-charged journalists who were only fulfilling their professional duties.

The law enforcement agency particularly assaulted JAAG reporter Abid Rahi and shifted him to Secretariat Police Station. – SAMAA
