Cracker targets media vans near Islamabad; 4 hurt

RAWALPINDI: A cracker blast took place near media vans at Faiz interchange, the main gateway between Islamabad and Rawalpindi, injuring four media personnel Sunday.

According to the Samaa correspondent, unidentified outlaws hurled a cracker on the vehicles at Faiz interchange and managed to flee, injuring four media staffers of Ab Tak, Dunya TV and Dawn news.

The explosion also burst the tires of the digital satellite news gathering (DSNG) vehicles and shattered their glasses.

The injured media personnel have been rushed to the hospital. -Samaa
