KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain criticized double standard politics of the government saying that today's rulers had also took out Long March when they were in opposition and now they are opposing the long march by other parties..
Addressing the parliamentary committee meeting here, he said the country was faced with political turmoil, and everyone should move forward and forget the past.
“People are still facing problems of inflation, water, electricity; they need solution of the problems”, he said.
He lamented over sectarian killings in Karachi, urging the Rabita Committee to stop them.
Hussain said that PAT leader Tahirul Qadri should not be arrested as it would create more troubles in the country.
Altaf Hussain also criticized the Pakistan Protection Ordinance(PPO), declaring it as a Black Law. SAMAA
