Maulana Fazl seeks removal of obstacles facing peace talks

Staff ReportISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam F (JUI-F) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Saturday called for steps to remove obstacles ahead of peace talks between a government-formed committee and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).Speaking to reporters here, Rehman said that tribal traditions also needed to be understood regarding talks.To a question about conflicting views of committee’s members, he stressed that there shouldn’t be any difference of opinion on the serious process.He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had implemented resolutions passed by the Parliament in this regard. – SAMAA
