Massive rallies emerge across country to protest against Rawalpindi incident

Staff ReportISLAMABAD: A large number of massive rallies emerged across the country Friday to protest against the Rawalpindi incident, SAMAA reports.People attended numerous rallies in large number in many large and small cities of the country to express displeasure over the saddening incident of Muharram 10 at Raja Bazaar in Rawalpindi.The rallies participants were carrying placards and they chanted loud slogans against the massacre and damages caused in the incident. They demanded immediate arrest of the culprit and compensation against loss of lives and belongings for the victims.Many rallies were taken out from different cities of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Nawab Shah, Sukkur, Dadu, Shikarpur, jackobabad. The rally participants held security responsible of the incident and demanded quick justice for victims and appropriate punishment for the culprits involved in Rawalpindi massacre.Special beefed up security arrangements were made by the law enforcement agencies in Karachi and other cities to avoid any possible mishap during protest rallies in Sindh.Many more rallies were taken out in Islamabad and throughout Punjab province including Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Dera Ghazi Khan, Jhang, Kasoor, Toba Tek Singh, Okara, and Rajanpur.Punjab Home Department made special security arrangements and deployed army troops in many cities to guard the protest rallies.A large number of protesters emerged on roads and attended protest rallies in Mansehra, Abbotabad, Hangu areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. People of Quetta, Chaman, and Dera Murad Jamali also recorded their protest amid notable rallies in Balochistan.The protesters recorded their annoyance over Rawalpindi incident in Gilgit and Azad Kashmir’s Mirpur city as well.All rally participants expressed grief over killings of the innocent people and losses worth billion of rupees at Raja Bazar on Yaum-e-Ashur in Rawalpindi,They demanded the government to expose and arrest the culprits involved in the incident while vowing to fail the conspiracies of anti-peace enemies of the country.
