PHC bans Musharraf from contesting polls

PESHWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Tuesday put a lifetime ban on former President Pervez Musharraf from contesting elections.
Chief Justice of the PHC said that Musharraf, who repeatedly abrogated constitution, won’t be able to run for the elections.
He gave this verdict while rejecting Musharraf’s appeal to take part in the coming election from Chitral. – SAMAA
