Staff ReportKARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan will leave for London via Dubai today as he has been directed to call on Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain in London, SAMAA reported Friday.Following a new turning point in Sindh’s political situation, the party’s high command summoned the governor in London. He will fly this morning to London via Dubai on board a private airline. The sources said Governor Ebad will formally announce his stepping down as the governor after his meeting with Muttahida’s leadership. It should be mentioned here that Ebad left the country earlier on June 28, 2011 after he resigned from his office; however, President Asif Ali Zardari rejected his resignation 20 days after his resignation. He retraced his step back into the governorship after a series of negotiations with the government. –SAMAA
