Sindh minister accuses judges of adopting double standards

Staff ReportISLAMABAD: Sindh Information Minister Sharjil Memo has said that judges should come out of their double standards, questioning why the Supreme Court is only after the Swiss case out of 8, 000 NRO cases. “Prime Minister would write to Swiss government to reopen graft cases only If the Constitution allowed so; otherwise no way,” he said while addressing a press conference at National Press Club today (Wednesday). He accused the Supreme Court of indulging in nepotism in cases relating of Muslin League-Nawaz (PML-N).Conspiracies are being hatched against the democratic government from day one, he said, adding that dictators are given time. He said the discriminatory law and double standards won’t work now. One Prime Minister is hanged while the other is sent on exile, he added. “The current situation in Pakistan would improve if the media stopped giving coverage to the Supreme Court,” he concluded.
