PML-N, journalists stage rally against drug dealers in Muzaffarabad

Staff ReportMUZAFFARABAD: Workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and journalists staged a rally in Muzaffarabad on Monday against drug dealers. The rally was taken out from Central Press Club to Muzaffarabad High Court.Leader of the Opposition in Azad Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq also filed a writ petition in the high court. AJK Chief Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, hearing the petition, ordered Chief Secretary, IGP and AG to appear before the court on May 20. The applicant argued that drug addiction has put the lives of youth in trouble. It said police hesitate to take action against the drug peddlers while top officials are also involved. SAMAA
