Staff ReportISLAMABAD: The LPG marketing companies ramped up the price of the gas by Rs. 20 per kilogram, hiking the price of domestic cylinder by Rs.235 and commercial cylinder Rs.910.According to Irfan Khokar, Chairman LPG Distributors Association, the LPG markeing companies burgeoned the prices without a go-ahead from Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), causing the gas to touch the record highs in the national history.After the recent hike, the LPG price rocketed up to Rs. 185 from 140/kg. It should be mentioned here the marketing companies raised the prices despite the fact that the gas was not imported since past three months.Now, the gas is selling at Rs.185/kg in Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA, Azad Kashmir and Swat; Rs.165 in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Murree; Rs. 155 in Sadiqabad and Sukkur; Rs. 150Faisalabad, Gujrat and Multan; Rs.145 in Lahore and Gujranwala.The gas soared to Rs.145/kg in Karachi.
