Gang of five drug dealers nabbed in Karachi

Staff ReportKARACHI: Crime Investigation Department (CID) of police apprehended five persons allegedly involved in murders, attempted murders, drug dealing and other crimes, police said on Monday. Acting on a tip-off, the CID police raided a house in Chanesar Goth. Five suspects, Imran alias Immi, Irfan alias Jabal, Bashir alias Nana, Imran alias Mani and Farooq, opened fire at the police, leading to a shootout. However, police successfully nabbed the suspects after some resistacne. The suspects are linked with a group of drug sellers. One SMG rifle, repeater and four pistols were recovered from their custody. SAMAA
