Water level in Mangla, Tarbela surges

ISLAMABAD: Water level in the country’s largest reservoirs, Tarbela and Mangla dams, has risen 33 and 97 feet above the dead level due to fast flowing rivers.
According to IRSA authorities, water level in Tarbela is up at 1411.16 feet.
Inflow of water at Tarbela dam is 79,500 cusecs while outflow remains at 60, 000 cusec.
On the other hand, water level in Mangla dam has surged to 1137.60 feet with an increase of 97 feet.
The inflow of water in the Mangla dam has been recorded at 66, 864 against the outflow of 45, 000 cusec. SAMAA
