Water level in Mangla, Tarbela reservoirs surges

Staff ReportISLAMABAD: Water level in the country’s largest reservoirs, Tarbela and Mangla dams, has risen to 31 and 102 feet above the dead level. According to IRSA authorities, water level in Tarbela reservoir is up at 1409.78 feet. Inflow of water at Tarbela dam is 84, 300 cusecs while outflow has been recorded at 85, 000 cusec.The inflow of water in the Mangla dam has been recorded at 66, 878 cusec against the outflow of 55, 000 cusec. IRSA says that water inflow at Kalabagh is at 114, 331 and outflow remains at 106, 331 cusecs. SAMAA
