Staff ReportISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Saturday decreased Tarbela Dam outflow by 5000 cusecs, causing to drop hydal power production by 200 Megawatts; this may result in raise of the power outage spans to 14 hours.According to sources, IRSA slashed water outflow from Tarbela Dam for repair work of Chashma Barrage, cutting power generation to at least 450 MWs. The power generation cut led to shortfall of over 3000 MWs.The situation could unleash power outage spans to 14 hours. SAMAA
