Govt has failed to check price hike, unemployment: Nawaz

Staff Report

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that the government has failed to control the price hike and unemployment.

He said this while speaking to PML-Q’s MNA Pir Mian Aslam Bodlah, Senator Javed Ali Shah and former lawmaker Syed Mujahid Ali Shah here on Friday.

“The cornerstone of our politics has always been to safeguard the interests of Pakistan and its people,” he said.

“Poverty, price hike, unemployment and law and order top the list of the challenges confronting Pakistan.”

He said the federal government has failed to check rising inflation and joblessness.

The PML-N chief added that his party would initiate projects of public welfare after coming into power again. SAMAA
