USC increases sugar price by Rs 10 per kg

ISLAMABAD: The Utility Store Corporation (USC) has increased sugar price by Rs. 10 per kilogram.

The USC sent a summary to the Ministry of Industry and Production on Tuesday for the increase in sugar price.

Sources told SAMAA that the ministry has approved the summary, after which the new sugar price will be Rs. 65 per kg at Utility Stores.

The ministry will issue the notification of sugar price increase soon.

On the other hand, consumers say that most of the sugar mills belong to politicians. SAMAA
