Govt to send special planes to Kyrgyzstan

ISLAMABAD: Foreign office spokesman Abdul Basit has said here on Monday that government will send special planes for the return of Pakistanis stranded in Kyrgyzstan.

While talking to SAMAA TV, spokesman said that the C-130 plane will be dispatched today. All the Pakistanis asked to gather at Osh airport till 3:00 p.m. afternoon, the plane will leave after receiving signal and expected to reach till 3:00 p.m. today.

Abdul Basit has said that efforts are underway for the safe return of Pakistanis and the Pakistani Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan directed to contact foreign minister of Kyrgyzstan.

The list of stranded Pakistanis has been handed over to Kyrgyz government and the government is providing full support in this regard.

30 Pakistanis are also stranded in Jalalabad city of Kyrgyzstan while 269 Pakistanis are in Osh, said Abdul Basit. SAMAA
