Heat wave in Larkana kills 3

LARKANA: Heat wave in Larkana killed three persons and caused dozens of people to faint, said sources Wednesday.

According to the meterology department, the heat wave will prevail for one more day in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwah and Kashmir, and for two more days in Sindh and Balochistan.

Land bound areas will stay hot until tomorrow.

Rain and thunderstorm is predicted on Thursday evening and Friday in northern areas, Islamabad and Kashmir.

On Tuesday, 11 degrees centigrade was recorded in Sukkur, 50 in Rahim yar Khan, 49 in Noor Porthal and 48 in Bahawulpur, Bahawalnagar and Multan.

The hottest areas were Jacobabad, Pad Eidan, Moen jo daro, Sibi, Nawabshah and Larkana with a temperature of 52 degrees centigrade recorded.

Medical experts advise the citizens to stay indoors and consuming as much water as possible. SAMAA
