7,200 IDP families given Visa Card: Nadeem

ISLAMABAD: Every IDP family will be given Rs 5000 per month via Visa Card and so far 7,200 families have already been given the card, said the Special support Group Chairman Lt. Gen. Nadeem in a press conference Sunday.

He also said that the IDPs are given cash instead of food, for whic each family is been given a visa card.

The federal government has given the province of NWFP Rs 2.68 billion which will be sufficient for six months.

He also said that 23 schools in Dera Ismail Khan are educating over 3000 students. A poverty-alleviation fund is providing professional training to the IDPs. This fund will provide professional training in four different sectors. SAMAA
