KARACHI: The trade deficit for the month of August stands at $2.19 billion, said sources in the State Bank of Pakistan Friday.
According to the data released by the government, exports amounted to $1.48 billion whereas imports stood at $2.52 billion. Exports and imports have decreased by 5.36 percent and 27 percent respectively, as compared to last year. In January and February this year, exports stood at $2.96 billion and imports at $5.16 billion. SAMAA
