KARACHI: Clifton police have arrested a person for murdering his step mother in the Defence area.
Former chairman KPT Latif Shibli's son Faiz Imran and his servant were arrested for battering his step mother Humera Bibi to death.
He, along with his accomplice, a servant, then put the body in a suitcase to transport it to a hiding place when they were apprehended by the Clifton Investigation Police. The police also recovered the weapon from them.
The police has sent the body to the Jinnah Hospital till last reports.
According to the police, his first wife was also murdered in 2006.
The media was not allowed to take any footage of the culprits.
The police interrogated the wife of the murderer Faiz Imran throughout the night in a closed room. -SAMAA
