Unknown armed men rob Samaa TV reporter, cameraman

LAHORE: Unknown armed men robbed Samaa TV's reporter and cameraman of the company's camera, cash and personal items in Jauhar Town here Tuesday.

Two unknown armed men on a red Yamaha motorcycle No.LXJ9848 robbed reporter Aiman Mufti of Rs.10,000, cell phone along with the company's SIM and car keys and the company's Sony HD camera and Rs.1000 from the cameraman.

The crew was getting off from their car outside a house when two armed men came on the aforementioned motorcycle from behind and forced them to hand over the above items at gunpoint. The miscreants then escaped.

Reporter Aiman Mufti said, “We tried to resist them but one of them cocked their gun at us.”

“It happened in broad daylight at around 2:30 p.m.,” he added.
