Good news for Marvel fans: cinema owners across the country have announced that the much-awaited Marvel movie Avengers Endgame will be released in Pakistan in April but the release is coming with a little surprise.

While the Avengers Endgame release is getting scheduled at different cinemas across Pakistan, there’s another movie releasing in addition. The wait is finally over for Captain Marvel too as it is also going to be released this month.

Atrium Cinemas told SAMAA Digital that Disney’s Avengers Endgame will be releasing on April 26 and Captain Marvel on April 5.

Nueplex Cinemas also shared that Captain Marvel and Dumbo are also “coming soon”

Captain Marvel, which opened on March 8 across the world, was not released in Pakistan as Disney’s regional office did not give Pakistan the rights to run it. Captain Marvel was scheduled to release in Pakistan on March 15.

“Some other distribution company has offered Disney three times the money we pay to import the film to Pakistan. Now, Disney wants us to make a higher offer in order to take the film,” Eveready Group of Companies General Manager Aziz Pasha had told SAMAA Digital about the delay in Captain Marvel’s release. Eveready Pictures is the local distributor for Disney movies and obtains the rights to the movies. It then gives movies to local cinemas to screen for audiences.

He had said that if the negotiations are successful, they will be able to screen Captain Marvel in Pakistan. Seems like the negotiations were made successful.
