Mohammad Abbas gains big in Test rankings

International Cricket Council released the latest Test rankings on Friday.

Pakistani pacer Mohammad Abbas, who picked seven wickets in the Dubai Test, shared the 13th position in the bowlers rankings alongside Jason Holder of West Indies.

Usman Khawaja of Australia reached No. 10 in the Test rankings following his performance in the Dubai Test against Pakistan. His 141-run knock in the second innings helped Australia secure a draw in the first game of the two-match series.

Asad Shafiq is at No.20 while Mohammad Hafeez was placed at No.45.

Virat Kohli of India topped the batsmen rankings while Australia’s Steve Smith and Kane Williamson of New Zealand are at No.2 and No.3, respectively.

Bilal Asif is placed at No.69 in the rankings.
