Ivanka Trump, eldest daughter of Donald Trump, has finally spoken out about comments her father made on a hot mic tape, in which he talked about grabbing women’s genitals.

The businesswoman called her father’s remarks ‘clearly inappropriate and offensive’ but said she’s glad he apologized.

‘I’m glad that he acknowledged this fact with an immediate apology to my family and the American people,’ she told Fast Company.

Donald Trump’s daughter, who has been one of his most powerful female surrogates, says she has no plans of making her campaign role permanent if the billionaire wins the White House.

‘No, I don’t intend to be part of the government,’ Trump told Fast Company in an interview released Monday.

That doesn’t mean her father hasn’t flirted with the idea, telling ‘First Coast News’ in August, as Politico pointed out, that supporters would love to see Ivanka in his cabinet.

In mulling over future cabinet members Trump said, ‘Well, there are so many different ones to choose, I can tell you everybody would say “Put Ivanka in! Put Ivanka in! You know that, right?”‘ Trump said.

‘She’s very popular, she’s done very well. And you know Ivanka very well,’ Trump continued. ‘But there really are so many that are talented people, like you,’ the Republican nominee adding broadening his cabinet search outside his family tree.
