An Indonesia woman, who was accused of killing the half-brother of North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, has been freed after two years.

The charges against her have been dropped, reported the BBC.

Siti Aisyah and Vietnamese national Doan Thi Huong were accused of killing Kim Jong-nam with VX nerve agent, a lethal chemical weapon, at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in February 2017.

The lawyers of the suspects claimed that they were duped by a team of North Korean agents, who tricked them into thinking they were part of a reality show.

Kim’s apparent assassination had kicked off a heated diplomatic row between Malaysia and North Korea. It ended after nine Malaysians were allowed to return home from Pyongyang and three North Korean were permitted to leave Malaysia, according to the CNN.
