MAKKAH: Millions of Muslims across the globe including Gulf countries, Far East, the United States, and Europe are celebrating Eidul Adha with religious fervor on Monday.

Afghan refugees living in Peshawar also are celebrating Eid today.

Muslims living in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh will observe the Festival of Sacrifice tomorrow and sacrifice animals.

Arab world including Saudi Arab, Africa, Indonesia, Philippines and several Far East countries are marking the festive occasion with religious zeal by slaughtering animals in realization of Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.).

Meantime, Eid is being observed by the faithful living in Russia, China and central Asian states as well.

Muslims living in the USA, Britain and other western countries are hosting sumptuous feasts and large ceremonies in order to share joy and festivities with people hailing from other communities. –SAMAA
